About Wisconsin's 2nd Congressional District

Wisconsin's 2nd Congressional District is located in the heart of southern Wisconsin. The district is home to Wisconsin's second-largest city and state capital, Madison, but also boasts strong agricultural roots comprising among the most agricultural-producing counties in the state.

The 2nd Congressional District comprises more than 670,000 residents and has long been a Democratic stronghold. The district is represented by U.S. Congressman Mark Pocan and U.S. Senators Tammy Baldwin and Ron Johnson.

The district is comprised both in whole and in part of seven counties: Dane, Iowa, Green, Lafayette, Richland, Rock, and Sauk.
